How can you avoid your hair becoming dry and splitting in the winter?

“One of the big problems you can have with your hair over the colder months is static electricity. This is to do with the dry air that’s both outside and inside. Outside the temperature has dropped, and inside there’s less moisture in the air because most buildings and homes have their central heating on. A lack of moisture creates static friction in hair, which is what causes split ends – so a little bit of hair oil, serum or a cream to help maintain moisture in your hair will help.”
