But TikTok aren’t the only ones paying attention to the ’90s style. In fact, celebrities like newlywed Sarah Hyland took to the trend, albeit accidentally, earlier this year. Back in June, the Modern Family star posted a video of her hair to Instagram, perhaps coining the term ‘Monica cut’ for 2022.

“Took out my extensions and realised my hair had grown into a Monica cut. Needless to say, I’m very excited about this,” she said in the video.

To get the look yourself, leave the responsibility to a trusted hairstylist. When you’re in said person’s hands, then try asking for a longer version of a bixie cut airing on the longer side, ending around your collarbone. If you want to commit to the look, ask for rounded layers around the chin.
