I’m a busy mum – I get trolled for looking like a Rugrats doll because of my hair but I don’t care

HAVING a neat or fancy hair-do is the last thing on your mind when you’ve got little ones to take care of.
Hairdryers, straighteners and styling products take a back seat with kids in tow. Instead, popping your locks in a messy bun is the easiest option.
Talented hair stylists are always on hand to make our buns look fabulous no matter how much time we have on our hands.
But what happens when you take your hair down after days or weeks stuck in the same style?
One funny mum decided to show the world what happens when she undoes her bun – and the result was hilarious.
Presenter and mum-of-two Dina Butti shared a clip of herself undoing her sleek up-do on TikTok.
Over 1.5million users tuned in to see her unveiling, which she captioned: “Don’t mess with the mum bun!”
Dina wears a full face of make-up and a bright white smile as she grins at the camera, ready to undo her bobble.
Text appears over the clip, reading: “Do you ever just look at a mum and think… I wonder what she’d look like if she took her mum bun out?”
Having drawn in her followers, Dina begins unravelling her neat up-do to reveal a head of very short, crimped hair.
Incredibly, instead of falling to her shoulders, Dina’s locks remain standing on end inches above her head.
“It’s giving Cynthia, Angelica Pickle’s doll,” jokes one user, referencing the 90s cartoon series Rugrats.
She’s also likened to the iconic Troll dolls of the same era.
“My husband said all I’m lacking is a gem in my belly button #treasuretroll,” admits a fellow mum with the same hair troubles.
Others picked up on her likeness to a fairy tale character, with one claiming: “I love it, giving me serious Rumpelstiltskin from Shrek vibes.”

Some couldn’t help but howl at the pretty mum’s wild hair, with another commenting: “I feel bad for laughing this loud.”
But Dina’s not alone – thousands of mums opt for a quick and easy messy bun every day and they all end up with a similar result when they take their bobbles out.
One mum applauded Dina’s video: “Such a brave and relevant post. The bun felt around the world.”
Meanwhile, another shared her own struggles: “I always felt so bad that I looked like this when I took my bun out. I’m glad it’s not just me.”
But there’s one thing all of Dina’s…
