Helena Bonham Carter looked worlds away from her usual self as she sported a vintage look while filming One Life in Hampstead on Tuesday.

The actress, 56, will join two-time Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins and Johnny Flynn in the feature drama that is set during the Holocaust.

Helena was joined on set by her boyfriend Rye Dag Holmboe, 34, as the couple were seen going for a stroll together between takes. 

The film star donned a bronze silk blouse with a bow detail for the shoot and paired it with a  high-waisted burgundy skirt.

Wrapping up in a mulit-coloured cardigan, Helena’s locks were styled into a vintage updo for the outdoor shoot.

The star also sported a grey and red plaid coat between takes as she was seen chatting with Rye.

Her beau cut a casual figure for the day in a navy jacket with matching trousers and a light blue shirt.

The couple met at a wedding in 2018, following Helena’s split from director Tim Burton in 2014.

Helena and Tim famously lived in inter-connecting houses during their 13-year relationship, with each property decorated to their own his ‘n’ hers tastes and personal styles.

However, the Daily Mail’s Richard Eden reported last year that she had made the step of choosing to share a home with her academic boyfriend, even adding to their domestic bliss by adopting house rabbits.

The One Life production is inspired by the true story of Nicholas Winton – a London stockbroker who devised an elaborate plan to rescue hundreds of children in Czechoslovakia from invading Nazis.
